Since the launch of the Carver County Korean & Vietnam Veterans Memorial Project, the Waconia Lions Club members have met with over 40 organizations and engaged citizens throughout Carver County in their effort to both identify 135 Korean & Vietnam Veterans who qualify for the trip and raise the $83,000 necessary to make the trip a reality.
